1756 4-29 Henry Falkenborough to Jacob Falkenborough

Henry Falkenborough rents/sells 134 acres to Jacob Falkenborough for 100 pounds of Proclamation money plus the 5 shillings paid on the previous deed the day before.

1758 Oct 28 John Leeth Estate auction to James Pickett Jr.

Anthony Hutchins, as executor of John Leeth’s estate, sells 200 acres to James Pickett Jr. for 20 pounds and 15 shillings.

Patented to Francis Mackelwean to Samuel French to Francis Mackelwean to John Leeth.  In Anson Co. on the south side of the Pee Dee River on both sides of Cedar Creek beginning at a white oak.

1759 Sept 5 Mackilwain to John Leeth

It seems that this date could be a typo and should be 1753 not 1759.  John Leeth was dead by 1759.  We need to see the original deed.

Francis Mackilwain sells 200 acres to John Leeth for 30 pounds Virginia currency.

Patent to Francis Mackilwain to Samuel French to Francis Mackilwain. In Anson Co. on south side of Pee Dee River and on both sides of Cedar Creek beginning at a white oak.

James Pickett Jr. sells 200 acres to James Pickett Sr. for 90 pounds proclamation money.

Patent to Joseph White to Henry Falkenbourg to James Pickett Jr.  Beginning on the river bank near a locust at the corner of John Leeth’s land.

1768 Feb. 18 Isaac and Mary Falconbury to Nicholas White

Isaac and Mary Falconbury sell 150 acres to Nicholas White (and Mary, his wife) for 80 pounds proclamation money.

SW side of the Pee Dee beginning at a black jack saplin… below his house.  Patent to Philip Henndon to the sd Mary Giles.

1754 Jan. 13 Henery Falkenburgh (signed in Dutch) to Tarrance Carrel

Henery Falkenburgh (signed in Dutch) sells 80 acres to Tarrance Carrel for two and twenty pounds ten shillings current money of the Col. of Virginia.

Tarrance Carrell and Ann sell 80 acres to Thomas Tallant for 50 pounds proclamation.

In Anson Co on the Pee Dee River, beginning at a gum near the mouth of Hacked (Naked) Creek s 65 e 13 poles s 3 e 140 poles s 20 w 52 poles n 62 w 44 n 100 poles w 100 poles into an island then direct line to the 1st station.  Henry Falkenberry patent April 6, 1750.  To Carrell to John Leath to Carrell.

In Anson Co formerly Bladen, south side of great Pee Dee River, beginning at a poplar or post supposed to be about 1/2 mile above Mt Pleasant, n 80, w 200 to a pine, s 10, w 140 to a pine, s 80, e to a post on the river bank, up the various courses of the river to the 1st station, being mostly or half part of parcel of 400 acres in Caleb’s patent 1745 March 14
