Aubrey Sloan Fortenberry was born April 9, 1884 to Sloan and Kate (Kathryn Georgia Ann Moore in Denton or Wise County, Texas. He married Carrie Bell Bundy Oct. 2, 1904. They had six children – Monnie Dell, Bain, Fannie Ruth, Juanita, Sloan Aubrey, and Ross Taylor. He died June 14, 1929 in Wise Co.
